Happy Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day weekend!!!

I’m so happy you guys visited the blog today because I have a very “sweet” idea for this weekend’s festivities. As we all know, this Sunday is the day of love, the day of all things red, pink, and chocolate- Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day, to me, is such a beautiful holiday because it’s a day when you can express your love for your significant other, and grow your relationship through gifts and spending quality time together. If there’s one holiday that holds a special place in my heart, it’s Valentine’s Day.

However, single women sometimes feel a little left out on the holiday because as you can guess, they aren’t dating or married yet. In my opinion, Valentine’s Day should be a day where you can show love to everyone you care about, which is we have “Galentine’s Day” for our single ladies. If you don’t know what Galentine’s Day is, it’s basically Valentine’s Day, but here’s the catch. Instead of sharing love with your boyfriend or husband, you show it to people who love you just as much as a partner would, and they are your best friends. Galentine’s Day is a glorious day where sisters from other misters can indulge on wine, chocolate, romantic comedies while spending quality time together. To all the women without a man, this blog post is for you.

To help you make your Galentine’s Day a day to remember, I made a charcuterie board for anyone who needs inspiration on what to bring to the party. To make your charcuterie board look like mine or something similar to it, you’re going to need a few things: heart-shaped candy, chocolate truffles, Hershey kisses, fruit (berries are good to pair with chocolate), a chocolate mousse cake, and mini mouse cakes for you, and for your girlfriends to share (mine are from Trader Joe’s). Also, don’t forget to have a bottle of champagne ready to enjoy the charcuterie board hors d'oeuvre’s, and to toast to another Galentine’s Day spent with your BFF’s.

Thank you guys so much for hopping on the blog today to check out my Galentine’s Day charcuterie board and I hope all my single women out there have an amazing Galentine’s Day!
