How to Celebrate Halloween in 2020...

Halloween is around the corner, but due to the current circumstances, the spooky holiday will look a little different this year.

Because of the measures we have to take in order to tame the spread of COVID-19, beloved Halloween rituals such as trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treat, and big parties are going to have to put on hold for this year. Even though “the new normal” is making drastic changes to our traditions, that doesn’t mean we have to cancel the holidays.

For anyone who is lost on how to celebrate Halloween this year, I have what you’re looking for. Instead of hosting, or attending a big party, you can have a small one right in your home. To make the party even spookier, have right in your garage.

After reading that suggestion, you’re probably thinking, “Alexa what kind of party is that!?” Hear me out. Due to the pandemic, having a big party in your house isn’t exactly ideal, but if you move the party to the garage you can still have fun! All you have to do is open the garage door to allow more space, light a bonfire on your driveway, play some music, and and enjoy your favorite drinks and candy under the stars.

Now that I have covered the basics of the party, it’s time I share with you the essentials that will make your Halloween a night to remember. You will find everything you need from decorations to games in the photo collage below, along with each item being linked under the photo for your convenience. Guys, I know Halloween is going to look and feel different this year, but we can still have fun while being safe. I hope this blog post helps you all plan the perfect party, but until then, Happy Halloween to all and to all a good fright! 🎃👻

-Love, Lexa
